U10 Netball vs TPS

It was lovely to have the opportunity to work with the U10 girls today. They are starting to piece things together from lessons and club and their centre court play flowed nicely and Amelia really stepped up in defence, making a number of interceptions and really developing her lean. I moved a number of girls around and I feel we have found the right position for a few now.

The match was super close and only one goal was scored in each 10minutes quarter with end to end netball throughout. Our challenge definitely came in scoring, it’s a big ask to be a shooter. One which is very appealing to most girls but comes with a lot of pressure. Practice really is key and I would love to see more of the girls having a go at break and lunchtimes. Movement and channels was pleasing and girls offering from the back line in various ways shows they have been listening to our coaching.

I know they have a lot more to give yet and with additional coaching time I am excited to see where the girls can finish the season at Easter.

The final score was 4-0 to TPS but the possession was really equal and there was some lovely moments from both teams.

Anabel was voted players player by TPS.
