Netball - Spring Term - Week 4 - U11A v Ratcliffe
AN IMPRESSIVE U11 'A' TEAM PERFORMANCE TODAY - WELL DONE GIRLS
The U11A Team were unfortunate not to secure a draw or a win in today's match against Ratcliffe. The game was fiercely fought and it really was end to end throughout the whole game. With only 3 minutes to go until the final whistle was blown the game was 3-3. It was then that Ratcliffe made their break at the end of the final quarter and were lucky to score 2 goals in quick succession. With limited time remaining Copthill were just not able to gain further goals. Copthill made some super interceptions to regain possession of the ball and the ball moved quickly down the netball court. Toss ups were played with determination and a real drive and competitiveness was evident.
It was a super game to umpire girls and you all looked like you enjoyed the competitiveness of the closely matched game. Well done.
Mrs Harriss
Player of the match was awarded to Ags Pennell
Captain of the match was Maisie Brownlow
