U11 Intra School Netball Tournament Wed 3rd February 2016

The U11 Girls enjoyed an afternoon of Netball today. They started the session working hard to develop quick and accurate passing. They then moved on to some defending work which involved players working hard to get free and move into a space. They took this on board and executed some effective dodges using rapid footwork to receive the ball in front of the defender.
Intra School Netball Tournament
The girls who were unable to participate practically in the lesson adopted the role of umpire and took this role seriously. They did a fabulous job umpiring the U11 Intra School Netball Tournament.
The girls were divided into 4 teams and competed in a round robin tournament. They all competed well and persevered throughout the afternoon. The overall results were as follows:
1st = Yellow
2nd = Red
3rd = Black
4th = Green
