Year 3 & 4 Inter House Kwik Cricket 2016
Years 3 & 4 competed over 2 weeks in the inter house kwik cricket. A draw was made for the semi-finals which saw Burghley play Milton and Casewick face Lindsey.
These were both very closely fought matches in what was a damp and dreary afternoon of rain! Milton narrowly lost out on reaching the final losing to Burghley by just 1 run!! Lindsey, with a very strong side, defeated Casewick although Casewick did give a good account of themselves particularly in the final over of the match.
This saw the final contested between Lindsey and Burghley and the 3rd/4th playoff was played between Milton and Casewick. Milton came out triumphant to take 3rd place meaning that Casewick finished 4th. The final was won by Lindsey who defeated Burghley by 20 runs to take top spot and Burghley picking up the runners-up medal
The house matches were played in fantastic spirit and I was really pleased to see all the boys having a go at overarm bowling!
