Year 3 adn 4 Inter-House Swimming Gala

Very well done to all the boys and girls who competed in the Year 3 and 4 Inter-House Swimming Gala today at Stamford Boys Pool.  The children all swam superbly and put on a fine display of Front crawl and Backstroke over the 25m pool.  They started confidently either in the pool or diving from the side or starting blocks and every child finished their race well.  They represented their houses with excellent team spirit and sat and supported each other very well.

It was lovely to see the quality of techniques that many of our children possess.  Four new records were set today.  Well done to Olly Filo (Year 3 Front crawl and Backstroke records), Libby Bird (Year 3 Backstroke record), Sammy Harriss (Year 4 Front crawl and Backstroke records) and Isla Fulluck (Year 4 Front crawl and Backstroke records).  Great times, well done.

The overall results of the gala were:

1st = Milton (132 points)
2nd = Lindsey (102 points)
3rd = Casewick (98 points)
4th = Burghley (93 points)

And thank you to all the parents for supporting the children today.
