U11A Hardball Cricket v Ratcliffe - Wednesday 19th June 2019
Copthill played against Ratcliffe College on Wednesday at Uffington CC.
Copthill batted first and knocked up a creditable 51 runs from 18 overs. However, Ratcliffe's first pair opened well and scored a third of the total in 3 overs! However, Copthill fought back and took a few more wickets which put the match into the balance.
They reached the total with a pair to spare, eventually winning the match by 17 runs.
Well done to all the boys who took part and a special mention to Austin Waller for his double wicket maiden!
The season finishes next Wednesday with the final match being played at Orton Park CC against TPS.
