U9 Girls Hockey Squad win against Stamford U9 'A' Team

The girls displayed incredible determination this afternoon as they battled in their first U9 match of the season.  They tackled confidently to gain possession of the ball and they dominated the game from the moment the first whistle went.  Gemma O'Flaherty was awarded player of the match against Stamford U9'A' team for her solid and unbreakable defence work.  India North was captain of the team.  India confidently led her team in the '3cheers' at the end of the match and India was successful in winning and selecting the first centre pass.  The girls truly deserved their 4-0 win.  Well done to Ivy Kettlewell, Eliana Russo, Halle Stone, Isla Fulluck, Emily Anderson, India North and Gemma O'Flaherty.  A super start to the season.
