U11 A&B Girls Kwik Cricket v Leicester G on Wednesday 26th June 2019

The U11A and U11B girls played two very close matches against Leicester Grammar School this afternoon. 

Both sides showed fantastic fielding, keeping the opposition's strong batters at bay and making great use of their long barriers.

The batting from both sides was particularly strong with seven 6s and many 4s scored! This was particularly impressive against some fast bowling and some with added spin.

It is fantastic to see how much progress all our Y6 girls have made with their cricket, all showing great improvements in bowling, batting and fielding. 

On top of this, all staff commented on the super communication and encouragement the teams gave everybody. Great 'team player' attributes of the Copthill learner.
