P-O-T-M: Zoe Richardson for great batting and decision making in the game

The girls performed well as a team, taking some risky decisions to run, resulting in quite a few of the players being run out on the last innings. However, it paid off because despite the two teams being fairly evenly matched, our girls went on to win by half a rounder, so their determination to win was rewarded.

First innings: 6.5 rounders to Laxton : 7 to Copthill

Second innings: 7.5 rounders to Laxton : 7.5 to Copthill

A special mention should go to new girl Lea Chauhan who demonstrated some great fielding and batting skills, despite being totally new to the game! Poppy Newman our bowler was consistent throughout, despite the gusts of wind and threatening April showers.
