Yr5&6 House Hockey Matches

Wednesday saw the first House Matches for the Year 5&6 girls in Hockey. There was some wonderful hockey across the matches as the standard was really pleasing. It was super competitive too, no one finished the day unbeaten!
Lindsey finished in 4th with 5 points and 1 win against Casewick. Casewick came 3rd also with 5 points but taking the lead with 12 goals over Lindsey's 10. Burghley and Milton both finished the tournament on 7 points. Burghley with a loss to Milton and Milton with a loss to Casewick. So it came down once again, as it did with 3rd/4th to goal difference. Milton took the win having scored a wonderful 12 goals against Burghley's 6.
It was an excellent finale to a busy hockey term where the girls have made some pleasing improvement. Thank you to all of the parents who came to support and cheer on the girls. As always a focus on everyone being involved and playing their part, encouraged by positive supporters made for a successful day.
