Nicole E-E’s report of SJS U11 Festival

First we played against two teams that we brought with us to the match from Copthill and then the A team played against Peterborough and the B team played against Peterborough as well.

Both teams started pretty well until one moment in the B teams match when the ball was in the D and Peterborough were about to score but luckily Copthill intercepted the ball so it was taken by Copthill. Unfortunately by the end of the match it was 4-0 to Peterborough. 

The A team in the 2nd match played against SJS and started great with the team being very strong. They did very well and stuck right in saving quite a lot of ballas and also marked very well not to mention their catching and passing which was amazing- same with the B team. By the end of the match it was 2-1.

Everyone tried their best and did a really good job.

It was a competitive match and started well but then we lost some goals- nobody was disappointed they just kept trying until they got there. It was one of the most competitive matches I'd ever seen even though everybody put everything into the game!

The most important thing was that everyone had fun in the first matches of the season!
