U11 A Football v Ayscoughfee - Wednesday 31st January 2018
The U11A Football team played host to Ayscoughfee Hall School in what was a very windy day for football.
Ayscoughfee were a very well drilled team and had some good players who passed the ball round well. They flew into an early lead and at half time the score was 2-0 to Ayscoughfee.
After a positive team talk at half time Copthill played better however conceded another goal to go 3-0 down and that looked to be over.
But Copthill came back in fantastic style scoring 2 goals to bring it back to 3-2 and in the very last second of the game an own goal was scored by Ayscoughfee to make it 3-3!
An excellent match had all round and well done to all the boys who took part and the great effort put in by the boys, especially in the second half.
