Copthill took 2 U11 teams to Oundle in the snow! 

A Team
A 3-0 win 0-3 defeat and very tight match against Witham ending in a narrow 3-2 defeat. The girls really raised their game and played against all teams having boys in. Fantastic defence from Emily Darrell player of the match twice and attack from Lulu Richardson as GA player of the match. Great to see super use of space on the court today and awesome teamwork.

B Team

Match 1 - (8-1) Loss against Laxton

Match 2 - (5-1) Loss against Grantham

Match 3 - (2-1) Loss against Witham

Despite the losses, the girls played some wonderful netball on the court and each game improved on their match play conceding fewer goals each match. Our defence worked really hard and credit should be given to Violet G-B who was nominated as player of the match by the opposition for all three matches. Jemima Newton and Georgia Plant were both goal scorers. Playing in icy conditions and for the first time against boys, the girls worked hard and most importantly didn’t drop their heads and ended the game with smiles on their faces!
