U11 and U9 Netball v Wisbech on Wednesday 6th February 2019
Copthill played host to Wisbech on Wednesday playing netball at U11 A&B and U9 A&B.
The U11A team showed resilience and excellent netball skills in a highly competitive match against Wisbech. The final score was 13-7 loss but the whistle blew in our 8th goal shot.
The under 11 B’s provided their spectators with a fantastic afternoon’s play. Some quick movement of the ball and some lovely defending saw them take a quick 2-0 lead against Wisbech Grammar. Some end to end action saw Wisbech equal the score. A few positional changes and some more excellent play resulted in an 8-5 victory. Well done girls!
The U9 A&B teams lost and then played a mixed match with the Wisbech girls.
