U11 A&B Netball
U11A won 6-4
U11B won 2-0
Great results from both the U11 teams from sunny Brooke Priory. The U11A team took a very early lead, playing some great netball. Although Brooke Priory took the lead in the second quarter, the Copthill Girls didn’t let it alter their game and they continued with excellent teamwork to equalise before taking the lead in the final quarter. Our shooting was very accurate, converting goals on first or second attempts. Our defence also held strong making it a successful win!
Our U11B team also took an early lead which they held throughout the game. The girls changed positions several times to ensure they got to play a couple of different positions. A final goal in the last few minutes was well deserved after working hard throughout the full game.
Mrs Warren and Mrs Hesford agreed that this was some of the best netball they have seen from the girls and are both very proud.
