Copthill U9 Red & Blue Teams - Stamford Junior School Rugby Festival - Thursday 3rd October 2019
The Year 4 boys made the short journey to SES on Thursday to participate in a friendly rugby festival.
The boys were mixed up to form 2 teams, Copthill Red and Copthill Blue and they played matches against various other schools.
Copthill Blues managed to win all of their matches apart from one against a strong Stamford side, however only lost by a couple of try's. Copthill Reds managed to win all of their matches apart from one, which they drew.
An excellent afternoon of rugby was enjoyed by all and the Year 4 boys represented the school very well.
Well done to all of you who took part and player of the festival for Copthill Blues was Marcas Hunter, awarded by Mr Smith and for the Reds it was given to Hamish Wood and Aldwyn Hemming, awarded by Mr Willson.
