U9 Hockey Festival

A wonderfully enjoyable start to competitive fixtures for the U9 Girls. The festival set up is a lovely opener to the season to allow all the girls to play in mixed teams and start to experience playing against other schools and putting into practice what they have been working on in lessons.

The girls really progressed over the festival and started to become more confident in defending and attacking alike. A number of girls really stepped up and showed me some passion I haven’t seen in school before which was exciting to see.

The girls look ahead to Brooke Priory next week and Stamford the week after.
