LGJS Festival
Despite the icy conditions, the U10’s had the chance to an hour of match time hockey against a number of teams.
The B team saw lots of girls raise their game. There were some wonderful shots on goal, with much better use of space. Communication has certainly increased and the team worked well as a unit. The girls had mixed results but persevered throughout, remaining calm under pressure.
The A team were drawn against some strong opposition. The girls took a while to settle in to their game but some wonderful saves from our goalie kept us in the matches. The girls had the opportunity to practice some short corners and that was very positive. Cold began to play a part after the first two matches and we had to make a number of changes. Well done to the girls who stepped up into the team and worked hard in the final match to come away with a 1-0 win.
