U9 Rugby v Brooke Priory on Wednesday 6th November 2019
Some of the Year 4 boys took part in the second meeting between these 2 schools this term. The match prior to half term was a super encounter with some fantastic rugby being played. This one eclipsed that with even better skills on show.
The tackling was ferocious, running was straight and some of the off loads were brilliant! The score was not kept, however if it was then Copthill would of edged this encounter by a couple of try's.
Iron man was awarded to Aldwyn Hemming who's tackling in the second half was outstanding and his running was strong and man of the match was awarded to Harry Eastwood, not just for his excellent all-round rugby skills but also for his approach and attitude to the game.
Well done to all the boys who took part.
