U9A Hockey vs Brooke Priory

Our U9 A’s enjoyed a tightly contested and fun match against Brooke Priory School. Copthill managed to get an early goal and looked the stronger team in the first quarter, with excellent attacking play and some solid clearances from the defence. Brooke came back showing good teamwork to draw 2-2 in the second after taking advantage of a loose ball in the D. In the last quarter Copthill increased the pressure again on the Brooke defence and marginally missed 4 shots. Brooke closed the nail-biting game with a successful shot to win 3-2. It was an excellent match and the girls should be very impressed with their performance and overall progress as a team. They were a delight to watch. Well done!
