Copthill U9 ‘A’ Boys Football Against Grantham Prep

This was a dominant performance, with the whole team performing very well.  The skill level in passing, shooting and positional play was all extremely high.  We improved significantly in our marking when the opposition had the ball and this meant we stopped the Grantham players having the ball.  Our shots on goal were accurate and the final score of 10-0 was well deserved.  Sam Chesworth captained the side positively and Man of the Match Austin Waller was a constant threat, making numerous runs.  The goal scorers were Stan Halden (3), Owen Nazaruk-Wheeler (2), Austin Waller (2), Marcus Oliver (1), Sam Chesworth (1) and Elliott Britton (1).
