Boys Hockey U11 B v Oakham 22nd February
The U11 B team produced an excellent performance against a well organised Oakham side.
The match was played away at Oakham School on astro and all the boys embraced the occasion.
Having waited until the A team had played, the B team boys started strongly and had much the better of the first half but squandered too many chances and their goalkeeper pulling off some excellent saves throughout the game.
Oakham came out strongly in the second half but Copthill remained strong and scored an excellent goal through Felix Bowling after sterling work to set it up by Ted Pennell.
Man of the match goes to Ruben Baker and Ted Pennell.
Well done to all the boys who took part.
