U11 C Netball v Stamford JS

The team put up a brave fight against Stamford's U11c team, however were defeated.
The girls were very positive despite the difficult conditions with the red lines having been washed off the astro turf by the heavy rainfall. They were resourceful as ever and in true Copthill style, they marked out the lines with some of the spots and line markers, to help define the soggy pitch.

Evie Holder was nominated players' "Player of the match" by the Stamford pupils for her feisty game play and running to the rescue when we were one player short, due to illness. Evie was also my named player of the match. Well done Evie!

Well done to everyone for playing and for their great sportsmanship and attitude.
