U11B Netball v SJS Wed 1st Feb 2017

The U11B team started with real enthusiasm and the game was well balanced and end to end.  After the first quarter Copthill had held their own well and Stamford were only one goal ahead.  Passes were fast and Molly Salter was awarded Player of the Match for her effort and success intercepting the ball.  As the game continued, Copthill struggled to get the ball to the attacking third and opportunities to score were limited.  Every effort was made to mark tight, but with tall opposition and an excellent shooter on SJS team, the goal difference grew and Copthill couldn't claw back the goals.

A great effort from the whole team.  Captain of the match was Grace Richardson.  The final quarter involved mixed teams from both SJS and Copthill and both teams commented on the enjoyment and fun of playing in a team with new players.

Well done girls.  Keep up the effort.
