Success at the Infant Athletics Meeting - Monday 10th May 2017

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children excitedly took to the athletics track for the annual Copthill athletics meeting on Wednesday 10th May 2017.  Every boy and girl in the three years participating were selected and enjoyed an afternoon of running, skipping, throwing, jumping and various relay events in the glorious sunshine.

Well done to all the children, they really did do themselves proud as they ran with speed and competed confidently against Grantham Prep and Castor School.  All the hard work and practise in lessons paid off with Copthill securing first place in the event.

Results

Copthill Red - First with 500 points
Grantham Prep - Second with 451 points
Castor School - Third with 419 points
Copthill Blue - Fourth with 384 points
