U11 Hardball and Incrediball cricket v TPS Wed 3rd May
The U11 A cricket team played hardball against a well organised and disciplined Peterborough school on Wednesday 4th May.
Copthill won the toss and elected to field first, however the bowling was a little wayward at times which resulted in 2 runs per ball for every no-ball and wide. TPS soon clocked up many runs due to this.
TPS finished with a total of 202 but lost 35 runs as Copthill achieved 7 wickets. Copthill replied with 164 but lost 4 wickets in total. Therefore the final score was 167 - 144 in to TPS.
Well done to all boys who took part and men of the match were William Baker (super bowling), Ruben Baker (excellent fielding) and William Gardner (all-round performance).
The B team played incrediball and ended the match in a 74 all draw which was excellent and man of the match was Vir Makwana.
