Netball - Spring Term - Week 2 U11A Netball v Castor
Well done girls - a 6-4 win against Castor.
The U11A Netball team started the game with a few tactics tucked away. They listened well to the team talk and they set about their game play with focus.
Ella Bevis was captain of the team and she worked well in defence as GD, limiting the oppositions opportunities to score and clearing the ball away from the goal circle. Maisie worked hard linking the passes down the court until she had an unfortunate fall which meant she was out of the game due to injury. The girls carried on and Alexandra Parker stepped in to keep the game going. The game was end to end but Copthill ensured they maintained the lead. Both Emily Scrafton and Hope Tomey secured 6 goals between them. Well done also to Ags Pennell, Maddie Hunt and Chloe Mills. A good team effort girls, well done.
The final score was a 6-4 win for Copthill.
Player of the match was awarded to Ella Bevis.
