The U8's Football squad will soldier on whatever the weather!

The weather has unfortunately wiped out the two football fixtures that were arranged for the U8's this term.

However spirits were not dampened on Thursday when they were due to play Stoneygate before snow covered the pitches, as Mr Willson and Mr Smith still took all the Year 3 boys out for an inter-school match.  It was played in great spirit and all the boys gave their all in an enjoyable contest.  It was very cold so the boys had to move about as much as they could, which they did very enthusiastically.  There was even a bit of fun with snowballs!

Bedford were due to hold their annual U8 football tournament today, however this has unfortunately also succumbed due to snow and ice!  

I look forward to working with the boys again next year where fixtures for them will be much more frequent.

Well done to all the boys who took part in the match on Thursday and for those who made the squad for today at Bedford.
