Parent v Year 6 Netball matches - Thursday 10th March 2016

The Parents v Year 6 Netball matches were a huge success this afternoon.  A record number of parents were out in force to support their daughters on the netball courts and on the sideline.  The children (not the parents!) adhered to the rules beautifully, nails were short, watches and jewellery were removed, hair was tied back and the official netball rules were clearly understood by all the girls.  The parents tried their hardest.  Unfortunate cases of obstruction, contact, offside, out of hands, replayed ball, footwork and out of court situations by the parents really gave the girls the upper hand and allowed the girls to take an early lead!  The girls maintained their focus throughout some very entertaining situations and with some super shooting they managed to have the edge throughout the game and secure two fantastic wins.

I knew you could do it girls - well done!  A great effort parents and a huge thank you for making this afternoon possible.

Mrs Harriss
