U9 Squad Netball v Brooke Priory Wed 3rd March 2016

Another win for the U9 Squad.

The U9 Netball squad took the first quarter to really find their feet and secure their passing and movement into space.  After a good team talk and some useful pointers the girls went back onto the netball court with greater focus and determination.  Isla Fulluck and Bea Selkirk secured a good number of goals with some accurate shooting.  Jessica Dean was awarded Player of the match for her consistency in creating and moving into the space and receiving the ball accurately throughout the game.  Ivy Kettlewell and India North continued to jump for the ball and both girls achieved lots of interceptions in order to regain possession of the ball for Copthill.  Both Emily Anderson and Eliana Russo (Captain of the team) worked hard in their defensive positions.  With some very good teamwork the final score was a 5-2 win for Copthill.

A super game girls and a convincing win against Brooke Priory.

Mrs Harriss

The girls played well in their match against Brooke Priory and were unfortunate not to secure a draw or a win.  They all battled hard and Mrs Hammond was delighted with the effort and enthusiasm amongst the girls.  Well done girls this afternoon.  Keep up the hard work.
