U11C Netball v Peterborough School

On Wednesday 1st March The U11 C netball girls played against The Peterborough High School at home. The girls started off extremely strongly, with some fantastic attacking play. Stella Nicholas was definitely "on the ball" with her shooting! The score was 4-1 to Copthill at the end of the first third. Well done to Gracie and Stella, the shooters in the first third.

Due to the large number of girls playing today (17 total), we decided to split the game into thirds, as opposed to quarters, to rotate the girls and give them maximum ball time.

All of the girls played with a positive attitude, marking the opposition to gain possession of the ball and attacking down the court when able. However, Peterborough fought back and the final score was a Peterborough win 6-4.

Captain today: Georgie Sakkalli
Players of the match: Felicity Branton and Stella Nicholas
