Winners of the U9 Rounders Tournament - Wed 8th June 2016

On Wednesday 8th June Copthill under 9's got the opportunity to play in an inter school tournament, hosted by Copthill.

The Captain for the A team was Emily Anderson, who incidentally won player of the matches for her determined game play. Well done to her and to all the girls for partaking.The girls batted and fielded competitively from the start and this was reflected in the match scores. They won all of their matches.

The scores for the under 9A team were: 

9.5 to 2.5 rounders v TPS (win)

7 to 3.5 v Copthill B (win)

9 to 4 v Ayscoughfee (win)

The captain for the U9B team was Eliana Russo. Player of the match was Evie Holder for excellent game play. Well done to all of the girls for playing.

The under 9Bs got off to a flying start against Ayscoughfee winning the match 7.5 rounders to 2. The team also held their own very well against Copthill A's, despite losing they scored a respectable 3.5 rounders to 7.  The girls final match was a very close one, with just half a rounder in it.
