U9 B Football v St Hugh's
The U9 B team put in a tremendous performance against St Hugh's on Wednesday 20th January.
We left Copthill in glorious sunshine to arrive at St Hugh's, Woodhall Spa in thick dense fog! You could hardly see the goal from the halfway line!
Copthill started extremely strongly from the first whistle, scoring after just a couple of minutes through Alec Telford. They went into the break leading by three goals to zero.
St Hugh's began the second half stronger but were unable to capitalise on their early dominance. Copthill regained control of the match scoring a further three goals through Rohan Appadu, Raj Sissodia and Alec Telford who completed his hat-trick.
The final score was 6-0 to Copthill and special mentions have to go to Alec Telford, Raj Sissodia, Elis Rubins-Thomas and Gilbert Genever-Jones who put in terrific performances! All the boys deserve a tremendous amount of credit for their performances. Well done to all of you!
