U11A Rounders v SJS - Wed 4th May 2016

The U11A Girl's Rounders team showed greater focus this week and displayed an improved overall performance.  They were up against some hard hitters from Stamford which forced Copthill fielders deep into the pitch.  The girls understood tactically that they needed to limit scoring opportunities from Stamford and they made every effort to field the ball to second or fourth post.

Daisy Selkirk was awarded Player of the Match for an impressive catch and fielding the ball with quick decision making.  Rosie Sly was Captain of the team.

Come on girls - harder hitting and placement of shots required.
