INFANT ATHLETICS MEETING - Monday 16th May 2016
The sun shone this afternoon for the Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children as they competed confidently in the Infant Athletics Meeting. We were delighted to welcome Grantham Preparatory School and Castor School to our annual event.
Every Copthill child in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 participated with enthusiasm and tried their hardest in all of the events. The boys are girls should all feel extremely proud of their performances today. They skipped and sprinted with speed, threw the ball huge distances, jumped with all their might, showed concentration in the egg and spoon and displayed super teamwork in the relay events.

1st place - Copthill Red (552 points)
2nd place - Grantham Preparatory School (426 points)
3rd place - Castor School (393 points)
4th place - Copthill Blue (355 points)
