U11A Rounders v Stamford

The U11A Rounders team, captained by Halle Stone, performed very well in their match against Stamford.  They were unfortunate not to gain just a few more rounders to secure a win as they played well as a team. The girls put into place many of the things that they had been working on in recent lessons.  The ball was fielded well and delivered accurately to second post in order to reduce scoring opportunities for Stamford.  India made two impressive catches and Gemma one.  Both girls were awarded player of the match for their fielding skills and decision making in throwing the ball accurately to the right post.  The final score was 11.5 to 7.5 to Stamford.
