U11C Rounders v Stamford - Wed 7th June 2017

Copthill had a very even match against SJS with a final tied scoreline.  Gracie captained the team and was awarded star player by Stamford for her enormous hits and great back up fielding.  Alannah bowled brilliantly given the very tricky windy weather and worked efficiently with Jess in backstop, who demonstrated excellent distance throwing skills.

The team worked well together and played a tactical game where they managed to score plenty of half rounders at second post.

Player of the match goes to Mirrin for her fantastic first rounder and for her supportive play and sportsmanship at cut off.
