Copthill U11A Cricket v Brooke Priory - Wednesday 9th May 2018
Copthill U11A team continued their recent run of good form producing a fine display against a well organised Brooke Priory team at Uffington CC.
The format for the afternoon was hardball paired cricket with each pair facing 3 overs each, which allowed for everyone to get the same amount of batting time.
Ruben Baker batted very well along with his brother William and I was pleased to see Sammy Harriss knock up some good runs.
Edmund Kavati however was the standout player for the afternoon and was awarded player of the match for his consistent bowling and superb attitude throughout, which I would love to see more of.
The final score was Copthill 158 to Brooke Priory's 100.
