Year 5/6 Girls House Matches - Thursday 10th March

The Year 5 and 6 Girls house netball matches took place last Thursday (10th March). There was much excitement in the run up to the afternoon, with House Captains carefully formulating their strategies and team sheets to ensure a fair rotation of players. 

The matches started at an energetic pace, with some excellent marking skills and some fantastic shooting. The girls worked well in their teams, encouraging and supporting each other, with the younger players gaining guidance and inspiration from the older girls. The rotational plans worked effectively, giving everyone an equal opportunity to participate and allowing the matches to continue to provide the spectators with an impressive display of netball throughout the afternoon.

The final results were as follows:

1st - Casewick
2nd - Milton
3rd - Burghley
4th - Lindsey

Congratulations to Casewick, who won all three of their games, and well done to each of the girls who played with determination and with such fantastic enthusiasm.
