U10A team v Ratcliffe

The under 10 girls got off to a flying start against Ratcliffe School, with four goals to zero scored in the first eight minutes, leaving the other team standing! The girls passing was fast, accurate and a joy to watch. Ratcliffe however woke up and fought back hard in the second and third quarter and managed to score three goals. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, with some fantastic defensive play, in particularly by Daisy Selkirk as Goal Defense, the opposition’s Goal shooter went on to score a further three goals in the final quarter to our one, bringing the overall score to 6-5 to Ratcliffe.

The girls were disappointed not to have won, however they should hold their heads up high as they worked hard and demonstrated some great attacking and defensive play through out. Well done to everyone concerned.
