U9 Boys Hockey v Ratcliffe (A)

Away at Ratcliffe, the under 9 boys got their first taste of a hockey match for Copthill. They went into the match full of enthusiasm and despite being 3-0 down at half term, they had showed plenty of promising signs and fantastic team spirit. This payed off in the second half when the boys finally got their reward for all their hard work - two goals from captain Tom Mills. The final score ended 5-2, as the home side also scored twice in the second half, but I commend the efforts of all the boys for battling back in the second half.
