U11A Netball v Maidwell Hall

Player of the match - Emily Scrafton
The Year 6 girls worked hard against a fast and nippy Maidwell. The girls played four, ten minute quarters and persevered throughout. Both Hope Tomey and Lani Elder were successful in scoring for Copthill and they showed accuracy in their attempts in shooting. Emily Scrafton should be commended on her movement and agility in the game. She played well as both WA and WD and contributed very effectively to the game. Maisie was consistent in her playing ability and her safe hands and interceptions were very beneficial. Maisie should be commended on the game that she played and Maidwell U11A team commented that Maisie played very well. Final score was 8-3 to Maidwell.
Well done again girls on your efforts and on representing Copthill with pride. You were all a credit to the school. A very enjoyable afternoon.

Score: 12 goals to 1 (win)
The girls had a convincing win. They were attacking from the word go! There was a fantastic display of team work, whereby they passed the ball with ease to their goal end. The girls were hungry for the ball and defended tightly to prevent the opposition from being able to score. Well done girls, keep the excellent work up.
