Rounders Triangular Tournament

The top field was a fantastic display of Sport on Wednesday 3rd June as Copthill hosted an U11, U10 and U9 Rounders Triangular Tournament with Ayscoughfee and The Peterborough School attending.
The girls put on a super demonstration of their skills and knowledge of the game and were successful as overall winners of the tournament.  Copthill achieved first, followed by The Peterborough School in second position and Ayscoughfee in third place.

U11 Review
The U11 girls were successful in winning both of their matches and they truly deserved to be the overall winners.  They played with focus and demonstrated a high standard of play.  Some super hits ensured that they were notching up the rounders and their tight and secure fielding ensured that the other schools were unable to score many.  Very well done girls on your excellent play.  Player of the match was awarded to Maisie Brownlow and Captain of the games were Alexandra Parker and Ayana Shah.

U10 Review
The U10 girls did very well throughout their two games.  They were successful in winning their first game and only lost their second game marginally by one and a half rounders.  The girls achieved some good hits and they used their knowledge of the game well to field securely.  Well done girls.  Player of the match was awarded to Maddie Hunt and Captain was also Maddie.
