CRICKET HOUSE MATCHES 2015
The U11 and U9 Cricket House Matches took place on Thursday 18th June. This was the semi-final round, with the U11 final and 3rd/4th place matches scheduled for Monday 29th June starting at 15:30-16:30. The U9 final and 3rd/4th place matches with take place on Thursday 2nd July starting at 14:20-15:25.
The matches were played with great enthusiasm and energy yesterday and all the boys embraced the games with true sporting team spirit. The draw for the U9s saw Casewick take on Lindsey and Burghley play Milton. Casewick and Burghley came away victorious and will now take place in the final and Lindsey and Milton will fight it out for 3rd and 4th place. The U11 draw saw Casewick face Lindsey and Burghley take on Milton. Casewick and Milton came out on top for the U11s, which means we have a Casewick v Milton final and for the 3rd and 4th playoff, it's Lindsey v Burghley.
Well done to all the boys who took part in the matches, there was some super cricket played and great efforts were shown by all the boys. The 8 house captains for the respective age groups did a fantastic and fair job organising their squad.
We very much look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the finals in a couple of weeks time and let's hope that the weather is as good as it was yesterday!
