U9B Rugby Team v SJS and Witham Hall Triangular Tournament 29/09/16
Copthill U9B team travelled to Stamford Junior School to play SJS & Witham. All the boys played fantastically well in both matches and were an absolute credit to the school!
They played SJS in the first match and won by a single try which was followed straight away by Witham which they won by 2 try's.
Colin Earle captained the side this week and was viced by Oliver Tooze. Man of the match in the first game was Austin Waller for his excellent straight running and tackling and in the second match against Witham Colin Earle was awarded man of the match for his outstanding tackling! I was also pleased to see great performances from William Wood and Edward Grooby in particular, however all the boys should be extremely proud of their super efforts and commitment throughout the afternoon!
