U11 Girls Hockey v The Peterborough School 2nd Nov 2016

The U11 Girls battled hard in an end to end hockey match against The Peterborough School.  The girls did not give in at all and were quick to take an early lead.  The defense was strong with Alice Teesdale really getting involved in the action and clearing a number of shots at goal in order to prevent The Peterborough School from scoring.  Sydney Freeman was captain of the team and worked hard to tackle and regain possession of the ball.  Rosie Thorpe was awarded Player of the Match for her continual effort tackling and dribbling away into space.  It was unfortunate to finish 2-1 down after a determined and enjoyable match.

Very well done girls.

Mrs Harriss
