U9 Rugby Wednesday 10th October
Copthill U9 rugby teams competed in a match against a very well organised Brooke Priory team on Wednesday 10th October at Empingham Road playing fields.
The teams were split into 2 groups and were coached by Mr Teesdale and myself. My team won their match 12-6 and the other group lost 5-3, 5-1 and 5-3 - playing 3 ten minute games.
Captain for my match was Fraser Cameron and player of the match was Charles Bomford. Captains for the other group were Milo Gray, Dexter Emmerson and Adam Bell and player of the match was Milo Gray.
Below are some pictures of the afternoon and also include the U10 and U11 team who played in a triangular event with Brooke Priory and Laxton.
A huge thank you to Stamford Rugby Club and it's committee members for allowing us to use the facilities.
