U9 Festival of Rugby @ Stamford School on Thursday 4th October 2018
The Year 4 boys took part in their first competitive fixture of the term in a rugby festival at Stamford School on Thursday involving a number of other schools. The boys were split into 2 groups of mixed ability and played at least 3 matches.
The team below played very well and improved as the tournament progressed, in particular when defending and having to make a tackle.
Dexter Emmerson was the standout player in my squad with the timing of his tackling being impeccable and for his strong and direct running!
Very well done to all the boys who took part.
