U11 Rugby v Grantham on Wed 15th Nov 2017

The U11 'A' team beat Grantham prep 6-1 in an exciting game of Rugby.  Copthill addressed the key areas they have needed to look at to significantly improve their performance. They passed the ball wide quickly and this gave them the opportunity to attack at pace and exploit the gaps in the opponents defence.  The tackling was also much more effective, with most players hitting low and hard which stopped the big Grantham players in their tracks.  Copthill were being driven off the rucks in the first half but turned this around in the second half.  

Felix Bowling was the Man of the Match for his outstanding tackling and the side was ably led by Ted Pennell as Captain.

This was a good display that should prepare us well for the match against Laxton next week.
