The Girls making the best of the bad weather!
The Girls matches were unfortunately cancelled by St. Hughs School yesterday afternoon due to the constant and heavy rain that was falling over in Woodhall Spa. Despite the initial disappointment, the girls involved headed up to The Saxon Pitch for an afternoon of hockey in the rain.
It was a productive and beneficial 2 hours, with many skills covered, performed and refined all with a real sense of perfection.
The U11A girls focussed on their hitting technique and some impressive and powerful shots were produced from a range of angles at goal.
Confidence grew and success quickly followed. Goals were scored and huge improvements were made. The girls applied their work in the small sided game, and then continued in their full sided game on the whole pitch.
Well done girls, your hard work paid off.
